Thanks to everyone for their hard work! We're down to the final 6 designs... the winning design to be chosen within a few days!
Thanks, Neil.

#90 and #89 - Love these designs, you've got the symbol just right.
If you can think of any more similar style fonts to recommend, just gives us a few more options to as to potential fonts to go with that would be excellent!
Petert - we're nearly there, last few minor alterations; can you remove the very thin line you'd added which runs above and below the film strip holes - I want to the symbol to be as minimalist and simple as possible.
Could we see the text on all logos a little bit larger as well, so it's closer to the size/height of the symbol.

Petert, I don't think you quite got what I meant, on Draft#38 to #43 the holes on the front left and right flap of the film need to be horizontal rather then vertical as they are now.
The curve in the back can stay as it was, with the deep curve, no need for it to be straight.
At the moment, the design isn't accurately correct, because if you were to fold round a piece of 35mm film to get this shape all the holes would run in the same direction around the top and bottom edges of the film strip.
Also could you add a faint line of horizontal holes on the lower part of the rear section of film.

Draft#38 to #43 Could the film strip be altered so the holes/lines around the front curved sections of the symbol run horizontally so that they follow the direction of the holes around the back. Could I also see all these designs without the strapline underneath. - Really liking these design concept so far though.

Also can all future designs NOT have the strapline included - I know the brief has this in, but we have changed our minds about including this in the design.
Thanks.

Hi everyone,
Incase anyone missed it here's some design samples that we really like, some for the overall design and some for the fonts used, please take a look for some inspiration;

Also please feel free to stray from the brief and use your own ideas and creativity, to come up with a radical design... you guys are the experts and we're open to creative interpretation and fresh input!
Remember if we don't see the design we'll never know!
Thanks, Neil.

Ok thats for the new designs, again our straight to the point on the designs;
draft#19 - Really keen on this design concept so far, I don't know if it's possible to make the symbol look like a wrapped peice of film strip? Not sure if that will look good or work, but maybe see? I'd also like to see some different fonts (the more the better) used with that same logo design, and maybe using the same colour as the symbol and also can we lose the strapline underneath as well.
draft#25 - Could the symbol have a more 3d feel to it, maybe like a dome effect, and again a different font tried with the design. Again lets lose the strap line underneath as well
draft#10 - I prefer this logo to your redesign in draft#15. Maye try a different symbol design based on the same concept? Again not really too keen on the font used in draft#15 or draft#10
draft#4 - Would like to see some alternate fonts used.
Here's some other Mycroburst designs we like, some for the fonts used and others for the design concept, please take some time to look through the designs for ideas and inspirations. After each link in brackets is what we like about these designs;

Hi, initial feedback on the designs so far is below, sorry if we're a bit blunt, nothing personal but want to get straight to the point;
#11/9/8 - Really don't like this design, looks too much like a clipart design.
#10/7 - Not overally keen on the font used, a little bit too futuristic. I like the logo design, but maybe reminds me a little too much of the VW car logo?
#4 - Again the logo and the font is a little be too futuristic.
Hope the feedback helps.
Thanks Neil.

Hey Guys, thanks for the designs so far, we'll give it a couple of days and start giving some feedback on designs submitted so far...
** Just one thing for all future designs we've decided to lose the strapline (affordable video production)underneath the company name/logo - please bear this is mind for all new designs.
