We are a new company called Vape-Tech, we sell an e-hookah we call the Blunt-E (electronic blunt...get it?) This will be primarily marketed towards the medical marijuana industry (w/ advertisements in High Times and Kush Magazine). The Blunt-E acts as a portable battery operated vaporizer about the size of a sharpie marker. The unit itself is technically an "e-cigarette" and vaporizes glycerin to produce an inhale-able, healthy vapor free of any carcinogens present in smoke. We intend to act as an online merchant where customers can buy the Blunt-E as well as select accessories such as batteries, empty glycerin cartridges, pure glycerin, and flavor drops. We will also market our products as a wholesaler to southern California Medical Marijuana Clubs which are able to sell the THC-containing glycerin legally, though no mention of marijuana will overtly made on our website. Our web presence needs to be modern and professional looking, we are currently the only firm marketing an e-cig for medical marijuana use, and I wish to set our business as the industry standard. Here is the main industry competitors site: http://www.totallywicked-eliquid.co.uk/welcome.html They sell a variety of E-cig models as well as accessories, however they do not market for medical cannabis use. this website http://vaporint.com/#_about belongs to a company no longer in operation (as you can see they do not accept orders on their site) but it is a good source of information for the product. The logo itself will appear on the unit, so the design cannot be too complicated. The name "Blunt-E", with perhaps a symbol or something hinting subtly at the weed culture. Perhaps subtle use of Rasta colors (Red, yellow, and green) though I would avoid too strong of a "stoner" look about the logo. One of the great strengths in the Blunt-E is that it is a very under the radar way of using your medicine, and is appropriate for office or public use. Slapping a fat potleaf on it would cast the wrong image for many of my potential customers. I really am interested in seeing some of the suggestions you creative designers come up with and we can refine the design from there. I would like the colors limited to 4 at most as that would increase printing costs on the unit, as well as avoiding any overt references to marijuana in the logo. Please keep in mind that the logo is going to be printed on a black background on the Blunt-E unit. As far as the website goes, a simple darker tinted color scheme is something I've always preferred. Nothing flashy, just clean and professional looking. |
