The ValueSphere™ logo will represent a concept that Commonwealth Sales Consulting will use in sales meetings, seminars and workshops. It is a combination of the words that denote the “sphere of people” in hospitals, businesses and retirement communities that my clients’ middle level managers must know, deal with, and have a good business relationship. These people are the administrators and liaison’s in these locations whose job demands that my clients, the management firms who provides services, provide them and their patients, residents or employees “value.” An example of a client of mine is a firm that manages patient food service at an acute care general hospital, a large cafeteria for a corporation’s headquarters or plant, or dining services for residents at a retirement community. My client’s district managers interact with a host of different level people at these facilities who expect them to deliver measurable value as part of the contract. I lecture on this concept and what managers need to do to effectively engage these people who can impact their service contract to retain the multi-year contract. I am considered by many to be a “guru” on this subject and people paid attention to what I say. This is an important subject as these accounts are normally multi-million dollar contacts and not properly knowing and satisfying the people in the “value sphere” can cause one to lose a major account. The people I deal with a generally conservative, middle aged men and women who are professional and intelligent. Because of this, and the non-flashy atmosphere associated with hospitals and retirement centers, I am looking for a logo that is dignified yet not dull. It should show a professional image and tie in the concepts of a sphere and value. |

I would like to see some type of sphere representation but not a globe per se. Value could be shown by the use of dark blue, gold, silver and white. I do like the idea of using both gold and silver in the logo. I want the logo to be able to show up well when printed in black and white and should be legible when reduced to a 1” by 1” logo at the top of a page. I would like a transparent logo that could be used on a white background and then be also pasted unto a PowerPoint slide with different colored backgrounds. While they are only my initial thoughts for your benefit and I am not a designer, I like the way the gold is used on the header of the websites http://www.navysports.com and http://www.nacva.com/certifications/C_cva.asp The silver looks good to me on http://eu.fotolia.com/id/38003774 as does the silver on the BMW logo http://www.findthatlogo.com/bmw-logos/ |

Given my brief and the nature of the image that I want, I put great emphasis on class, dignity and an aura of authority and knowledge. I want this reflected in the quality and class of the logo. That is why I like gold and silver inasmuch as the bottom line of my logo refers to "value." Make sure you use the TM symbol with ValueSphere. You can separte the words if it is necessary to look better. I would prefer one word. I am leaving for France on May 28th and won't return until the middle of June. I could make a decision in a week or it might take a while. |
