Click on "Follow me on Twitter", it just so happens to be the name of the winning designer. At least change it up a bit. LOL!
Why would you do this to people? Is this what "Survival" means to you?
Did you have to pay upfront fees to start this contest? Yes, you will get your money back but you still had to pay some bucks. I'll be watching the website now and then to make sure you don't use any of these designs.
I eliminated duplicates to make this easier (tried to pick the one I liked the best) -- still looking for new concepts and as this is directed to women either figures that are men or women or only females. Thanks, m
This is helping me clarify -- think I need to move away from nautical theme and more to empowerment or would like to see that played out. Also, replace tag line with:
UNSINKABLE: How I Rescued Myself in Work, Love and Life (and You Can too!)
Of the boat ideas I've selected the ones I like best however I hope to see other concepts -- don't really intend for this book and Web site to be about patriotism or sailing. It's about survival for women in the workplace and in their personal life, how there is no place for fear and always persistence. I'm not entirely sure I need a mark...perhaps different stylizing of the font and perhaps a different font and a better tag line? Others I've considered: "Survival, success, sex and single parenting" and "Don't Give Up the Ship!"
What I like about 33, 34, 35 is the boat rather than a ship, the use of color and in both cases there is a design that could stand alone. 33 is nice because the words can also stand alone and the movement of the waves and sails show action. The boat on 33 looks buffeted about but as if it will prevail. Can't use just book logos because this is more than book related (Web, blog, etc.)
Would like to see some all red and also just with the words demonstrating the values of persistence and outcome of successfully meeting goals. Hope this is helpful, m
Prefer the sail boat as to a cruise size ship -- need some waves or water but perhaps something without a ship. This is about persistence and success...kids, career, making life work. tx, m

Like the white background and image, not just use of type. A little concerned that it looks more like the cruise industry than a self-help book and Web site. Like the color palette -- especially on 4th of July. Thanks, m

Unsinkable: DREAM PERSIST SUCCEED
Thanks for some of the great work, loved the alligator but not a good match for a business self-help book :)
