We bring our unique, integrative perspective to the Transitions Program to balance support and skills in order to help students effectively navigate a stressful and difficult transition period."

"The Centerpoint Transitions Program offers an intensive skills and support program for students navigating the difficult transition through high school and into college. The program includes individualized programming to address specific areas of difficulty for students. An initial intake appointment will determine if this is the best program for the student. If it is not, specific recommendations will be made for what would be most helpful for the student’s particular needs. If the Transitions Program is a good fit, a secondary intake appointment will look more in depth at the student’s records, as well as further interviewing, to determine the best plan of action in the program. Although specifically tailored to each student’s individual needs, all students in the program will receive:
-Individual Educational Counseling
-Executive Functioning Skills Groups (planning, study -skills, self-advocacy skills, time management skills, -decision making skills, etc.)
-Emotional Skills Groups
-Support Groups
-Individual Neurofeedback Training (helpful for attention difficulties, anxiety, and other school-related difficulties)
The program will run 2-5 hours a day, Monday through Thursday, from June 11 through July 20.
