TO ALL DESIGNERS: PLEASE PLEASE take a good look at what Barkside has in draft #18 and Sicasimada has in draft #22. #18 is the best right now at conveying the message: a crowd/lineup of people walking through the TLC or (as is the case of #18) heading towards the TLC. If using people icons (which I like) then have the people facing the same direction --- they have to be in a rough lineup or heading in the same direction as it is in #22 sicasimada. I would like also a lawyer icon behind the TLC waiting to great the lineup of people as they pass through the TLC. PLEASE use #18 and #22 as a guide. They are very close to conveying the message we want. People facing all different directions does NOT convey the message. I'm favoring #18 over #22 right now because the TLC is prominently displayed, it conveys a rush of people coming towards the TLC. But #22 certainly in the running if the monogram letters can be made to stand out better and a lawyer icon inserted behind the monogram to greet the crowd. THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR HARD WORK. VERY MUCH APPRECIATED.
IMPORTANT>>> Designers, I'm rethinking putting the tag into the logo. I would prefer that instead of the tag we just have a modest imprint of "Turning Legal Company" either above or below the monogram.
@Barkside re #13 - this is very good at conveying the message I want the logo to have. I am wondering if we can liven up the colors just a bit instead of using gray for the doorway (maybe blue?) Any other choices for the people walking? It's pretty good, but if possible to have more of a mix of people, i.e., maybe some holding bags, would be ideal. Otherwise okay. I would prefer "Turning Legal Company" instead of the tagline and insert it at the top of the logo.
@finaldesign #15: get rid of the tag. If you could make a cutout doorway in the bottom righthand corner of the T, L and C, and then have a (simple) person icon walking out of the T, another one walking out of the L and then behind the C would be the lawyer icon waiting to greet them. That would be excellent.
@ ALL DESIGNERS: I want an element of people in the logo coveying the message like in barkside's draft #13. But see also what I described above for finaldesign #15.
I'm thinking to minimize some of the busy-ness, minimize the tag to just "Every Lawyer Needs a Little" [since the monogram TLC will speak for itself] .
Maybe a red carpet underneath that leads the people icons through the doors of t, l and c to the lawyer icon behind the c. I like the idea of tiles for the lettersbut would want to see the tiles appear like large Walls with a door at the bottom right corner of each tile. The people icons (one going into the T and one coming out of the L should convey motion - walking fast - and behind the C is my lawyer icon waiting to greet each ans every one of them as they pass through )
@finaldesign: these first few drafts are a step in the right direction. Is it possible to add a little door at the bottom of each letter tile (at the bottom right corner) and put a little person icon walking/rushing through ? We want to convey heavy moving people traffic through our client's door. Maybe one icon person on each letter tile ans our lawyer client sitting behind the last? Without looking to busy of course. maybe one person behind the first letter, one behind the second and then.the lawyer behind the third. Total 3 people icons.
I just wanted to say that the tag line does not necessarily have to be part of the logo itself since we could always add the tagline in below once we have the logo.
