kotakdesign,
Thanks for the designs. I eliminated the head-on versions, but would like to see the others with the other style of trike where 2 wheels are in front 1 is in the rear (like the other designers' submissions). Thanks!
I like the slightly skewed wheels in #6 (shows speed), and the backwards leaning font actually mirrors the recumbent position nicely. How about the trike shape of #6, the colors of #5, the font from #2 except backwards leaning, and a wavy flag/wavy hair?
So far, I like draft #5 the best as far as the trike goes. Could you try it using the all caps font from #2? Also, the left front wheel could be just a hair smaller to show perspective. I'd love to see #5 with a little more motion. Could you try a flag, and maybe just a touch longer, wavy hair?
Serge,
Thanks for your submission. I like the style, and like the font you chose (the forward leaning gives a sense of speed). Some comments:
- I'm not crazy about the rider representation. Something not quite right about the head. I think it might be blowing hair, but I'm not sure. Also, the proportion of the rider is a bit small compared to the trike. Perhaps a bit more whimsical without being cartoonish.
- While the font conveys motion, the trike needs something more to convey motion. A more noticeable and whimsical hair-blowing look, a fluttering flag, or maybe some whoosh streaks off the rear wheel.
- In the US, traveler has only one L. The fact that it has two Ls in British usage actually made me think twice about the name.
