the Kitchen Counter Cooking School is a book that comes out this autumn, and it will also be a web site and its an emerging movement. The idea is that many people don't cook because they don't feel confident or don't have time, but our goal is to educate and to encourage people to take back their lives, one kitchen at at time. the book logo can be found at http://kathleenflinn.com/books and the idea is that it should mimic this type treatment but it does not have to replicate it exactly. The idea is to echo it, and to make it compact enough to replicate it on business cards, aprons, etc. |

Royal blue or dark blue is a key color for us, possibly some green and open to colors found in natural foods (think: eggplant or red in peppers). Nothing "artificial" - colors should convey both prestige and soothing, nothing harsh or jarring colors. No pink. No aqua blue. Think of the colors at a farmer's market -- plus some bue. | ||
