  #7 is close, but the spiral is in the wrong direction. If you follow the spiral from the end, it goes counterclockwise. It should be clockwise.
  
  If you modify the spiral, and make the words at the bottom the entire length of the ICON, you will be the leading contender.

  #5 is headed in the right direction. The spiral needs to be swithched to the right hand side and the spiral needs to be right handed. Maybe just mirror image the icon?

  So far drafts 1,2 and 3 capture the keywords and colors well.
  
  I like the icon end mill in 2 and 3, but I think the logo looses some of it's focus.
  
  Draft 3 is simple, conveys the key words, but has no icon. Maybe the slashed lines can be replaced with an icon similar to #1 or #2.
