Sculpture Music are a band from the South West UK looking for a logo to use on our website and t shirts. Our unique selling/music point is the 'Hang Drum' a new and rare instrument invented in Switzerland in 2002. We use 2 to 3 of these instruments in our live shows, combined with double bass, layered guitars and contemporary downtempo / chill beats. We would like the Hang Drum image to be central to the design, but not so obvious as a direct copy! Something a little grungy perhaps, or with an intellectual pop art edge that fits with our name. We'd like text to go with the logo - again something a little retro but contemporary. Colour wise, burnt orange, blue and white alone or as a combination are firm favourites, but not too bright - key words might be - moody, grungy, spiritual, edgy, art, chill, beatnik, beats - that kind of focus. Our web site is www.sculpturemusic.co.uk and images of the Hang as a reference can be found all over Google. Ideally quite a simple but colourful image that would transfer well to t shirts as well as a web site logo! We like the band LAU's logo (attached)... Thank you! Matt and John - Sculpture Music x |

- Simplicity - a recognisable Hang Drum, albeit with a contemporary maybe static kind of edge. - Nothing too fussy! Fun, funky but cool. |
