TechCells is a vertical technology portal. Actually I call it as "One stop for all your technology needs". It offers online articles, forums, code gallery, newsletters all related to development and technology. In the future TechCells is planning to enhance its business with other services related to IT. That is why it is a technology site that covers a lot of corners of the technology. The letter "Cells" in the company name represents one aspect/corner of technology, it is “Cells” so TechCells covers all the corners of the technology and development. Target audience is developers, designers, IT people, IT students, IT institutions, or simply everybody who is involved in any aspect of the world of technology. I don’t want characters of birds, animals, or something like that in the logo. But some other representative illustrations are allowed. If you want to put some representative illustration on the logo, put it the left side of the letter “techcells”, but not to the top of the company name. Finally, about colors. The website has different pages with different background colors for the place where the logo goes. These are Dark-Blue background pages, White background pages, and Dark-Gray (almost black) background pages. That is why, be aware that the combination of colors you use must look very pretty in all of those backgrounds. If you have some problems with choosing color combination, create two or three color versions of the logo (like Yahoo, Yahoo logo is purple in Yahoo homepage, but white in Yahoo Autos & Yahoo Movies). |
