  Thanks to all the submissions so far. I like the direction of #3, #5, and #7.
  
  Feedback for adjustments:
  
  - The log definitely needs to be horizontal and not angled, more like #3.
  
  - colors of #3 are definitely closest to what we are aiming for.
  
  - try to make the cut from the end of the log to the length of the log look a little more '3 dimensional' without making a '3d' logo - hope that makes sense :)
