Hi Designers - thank you all for your great creative work. The simple logos that include a globe and rice panicles are working very well, and we'd love to see more designs in this direction. Rice panicles need to be very thin (see links in previous comment for photos). Thanks.
This link is to a publication with some good pictures that can be used as reference. The cover and page 6 have images of panicles; and there are lots of other pics throughout (roots, etc.).
Hi Everyone- the designs are looking great- thanks for the time and creativity each of you has taken. One note to keep in mind: make sure the rice grains are in proportion to the panicle size (panicles are looking a little short in some designs, while grains are too long in proportion). Thanks!
r.e. #3 your design is really nice. would it be possible to use the same base design showing a more detailed rice panicle and healthy roots with maybe a drop of water signifying the use of less water (versus the traditional method of flooding)?
For those making designs: Please look up a picture of the rice plant before guessing what a single rice plant looks like. It would be helpful to see a mature plant with panicles/grains and maybe a smaller one to get a good idea. Also, please don't put standing water in the design. This rice production method doesn't flood the rice.
