| I own an upscale tanning salon in a suburb of Rochester, NY. The competition is tough, and there are many tanning salons in the area. I have all new equipment, an amazing sound system, and seem to be the spot for 15-30 year olds. However I'd like to pull in an older demographic as well and appear through my business logo, salon appearance, and corporate identity that South Beach Tan is the 'place to be seen'. I am seeking a very upscale, classy, unique design that incorporates some sort of solstice/sun and purple/magenta/turquoise blue (south florida colors), colors maybe even a platinium or gold accent. I guess I'd like the logo to make people want to stop in and see what the salon is all about. I have already designed a simple tribal swirled sun with the colors mentioned above and the name along the side of the logo and it looks nice, but I would like to see if it can be tweeked, or what other graphic artists recommend. | ||

| I would like to avoid 'cartoon' style logos. I have in my head the salon name sort of used as the horizon and then a tribal swirled sun with the above mentioned colors somehow incorporated into the horizon/business name. I am also open to other styles that will be a great way to indentify ourselves. | ||
