I think that a white background would be best; I'd like to use a white/minimalist background for my business cards and website. Thanks for the great submissions.

One possible idea: a double glare effect in the logo - the kind that you get from a camera lens when you're pointing the camera towards the sun.

The two first designers seem to be using the same orange color theme. But it would be great to see some color variations. See #3 and #1
