mickle, draft #54 - I like this one because it's easier to see than #52 was. Could you do this with the key hole in the padlock?
pixelgraphix, draft #59 - Cool concept but just not quite what we're looking for. Any other ideas? Look at the remaining competition to see the directions we like.
heavtryq, draft #45 - This is your best submission so far. It's just not quite there yet. The key and envelope are a bit toyish at this point. If you have any further ideas please submit. Again, good work on this one and I want to like it, just not 100% there yet.
creativearts, draft #43 - Really like this one. The mail box is cute. Maybe a little too cute? I would probably not pick this one as it is now, but if you have any ideas how to tweak and resubmit please do because it's a nice logo.
hatter, draft #51 - Great job. Really like this logo.
@ ph holder, i thnk the lock is closed becoz you're going to unlocked it...the locked email which is shown and the key is in this company..thats what i understand.. thank you...any way i will try to design a different version..thanks
A note to all. The more submissions that come in the more I find myself liking the ones that are laid out like #18, #20 and #22. The text is stacked instead of in a straight line across. For example, #3 is in a straight line across. It's a talented design, but I prefer the first designs I mentioned because of how they are stacked.
I hope this info will help you in your next drafts.
And again I must say thank you for all the submissions. Your hard work is greatly appreciated. Keep them coming!
DDesign, draft #20: I like this design. I'd be interested to see a version of this with colors that aren't quite as vivid. Its not that I don't like the brighter colors, but I'd like to get a feel for how this would work with some blander business colors. You know, blues grays and blacks. That sort of thing. If you're up to it, submit a another draft. Again, like the design it's pretty cool.
Hey guys, I just want to thank you for the submissions. I appreciate your hard work so far. Now I'd like to provide some feedback. I am going to attempt to be as constructive as possible so that I can help you help me.
Below is individual feedback on the current submissions. Some general feedback so far is that I'm finding myself leaning towards the logos that have an image to the left side and the site text to the right. I feel this gives us a chance to use the image itself as a bit of a branding statement. With that in mind, it is going to be important that the image portion of the logo really captures the purpose of the site which is getting those emails into the inbox. Use of the envelopes and keys is going to be important. Some of you have done a great job with that so far. So, please take a look at the feedback below regarding your drafts and the drafts of the other submitters.
wanton2k1, draft #1: I like how you've incorporated the key in the design but that is only part of the 'story'. I'd like to see how you could incorporate the concept of an inbox and/or email into the design.
heavtryq, draft #2: I think it's creative how you actually turned the envelope into part of the key. Well done. Unfortunately, the colors and the gradient on the font don't really convey the clean, serious business feel we're after. You're definitely on to something though.
hatter, draft #3: I like what you've done here. I have to be honest, it seems to incorporate everything I'm looking for, but there's something that just doesn't sit right.
creativearts, draft #4: Creative way to include the word IN in the key. I'm not really feeling the way the key came out as a whole, though. Interesting font. I don't dislike it.
goesmoeh, drafts #5 and #6: #6 is the better of the two because the font is less 'busy'. I don't really like that style of key, however. And I'm not feeling the 'Hi, my name is...' looking badge. You've obviously got skills, but I'd have to say back to the drawing board on this one.
LojKe, draft #7: Modern, clean, good use of envelope. I'd like to see this with the hand being replaced by a key. And perhaps the text on the right side, the image on the left side. Nice work.
mickle, draft #8: I like the circle and the padlock that has an envelope incorporated into it. I'm not a huge fan of the way the key was used here. And perhaps the padlock should be open? Is there any other way you could bring the key in making it a little more prominent but not overwhelming? I think you're going in a great direction.
mickle, draft #9: Sorry to say I'm not a fan of this one. I like that you are trying multiple directions and I definitely encourage that. See also my comments about your other draft, #8.

Your logo will go in the top white section aligned to the left (opposite the FB, Twitter and RSS icons).

Is it possible to see some design, with a key opening an envelope and mail or perhaps "@" symbols flowing into it.
