| This is for a recipe blog, a silly one. Every Saturday Jess (4 years old) and her daddy (43 years old) make sauces together. Chutneys, oils, soups, sauces, relishes. That kind of thing. Then we talk about it on the blog. It has a very light hearted tone, but what we produce is actually pretty good (food), and well researched. We also take some fairly high quality photo's to go with it. We want the logo to reflect the quality of what we do but have a playful character. There is a website/blog but it is not currently available to the public - the domain name is sillysauces.com (we also own sillysoups.com) - it's password protected so not worth visiting but please note the domain name. It will go live as soon as we have a logo to be proud of! | ||

We have no fixed ideas about colours but the key things are: - not too many - 2 or 3, perhaps 4 max - simple block colours - see the KFC logo. - no gradients, 3D effects on fonts. Less is more! |

While we want it to be characterful, we don't want it to look "cheap". We will upload some photos of us. Basically we'd like a simple line drawing of us (like in the KFC log) with my daugher looking like she's done something silly (photo will demonstrate this) and me looking at her with a quizzical look on my face! We'll upload these photos in the near future. |
