    To All Designers -

I greatly appreciate all of your designs. I'm going to close this project since I have now made my decision of the winning logo.

You're all very talented and I'm quite sure I will see your work many times over.

Thanks again and have a great day!

Thanks for your revisions. Your latest designs are the polar opposite of #14. I appreciate the effort you put in to them, however, they are not resonating with me. They have an Arizona feel and I'm in SC.

Thanks for your recent designs. I'm sorry, they all seem to have a "western" feel and reminds me more of shooting a gun than a picture.

I love the font and color changes. Would prefer the word "photography" to be in brown instead of black.

Make the "shoot y'all" #3a281f and "photography" #584033 and in lower case.

I'd like to see the apostrophe as a "leaf or flower petal". Our neck of the woods is filled with Dogwood, Magnolia and Crape Myrtle trees.

I mean Paula Deen southern. Don't get me wrong, I like your design a lot. Just wanting to see inside the picture focused on nature (tree or plant stem) as opposed to a person. Possibly use a leaf or petal as the apostrophe.

    To All Designer -

Apologies if I appear to be nit-picking. When LogoDesign Guru designed my logo for Cactus & Ivy, I was the same way. When the final design was presented, I had that feeling of "hot dang, this is it". It was no surprise that it won a design award. It totally represented the feel of my company and who I am.

There are several designs I am torn between. I am looking for my logo to mesh who I am with what I do, without being too literal.

    Thanks bunches!

I have been looking at other fonts and like Palatia. I had my husband look at your designs last night and he made an observation that I agree with. Can you make the "Y" a little larger inside the picture and remove the dot? I do like that the "Y" was representing out stretched arms, however, I'd like to see it represent more of nature or a tree, if possible.

I've also looked at colors and I'd like the brown to be #3a281f

I'd like to see the other colors changed to:

    Sage - #c7d8bf
    Peach - #e1cec7
    Blue - #a6b8c2

    Thanks so much!

I like the professional feel of design #14, however, it feels like something is missing in the art and I can't put my finger on it. When someone looks at my logo, I want them to immediately know I'm a southern photographer without having to read the words in my company name. Did that make sense? It's so hard to express in words.

Thank you for your fabulous submissions. I appreciate the fun and whimsical feel of your designs, however, they are a little more than what I am looking for. My attention is drawn more to the design than my company name. I'm looking for a balance of the two. The art in the logo is too busy for me.

Draft #8 and #9 by twentyeight are derivative of #5 and #7 by ScottPerry, therefore have been taken down.

Gezz,I think they just copied and pasted your design Scott.

Hey, TwentyEight. Your designs #8 & 9 look awfully close to mine.

Very interesting logo design. I like it a lot! Would it be possible to see #5 in another font and the colors changed? I'm trying to visualize with the colors brown/aqua/pink or brown/teal/pink? I'm assuming the font used will have to accommodate the "Y" as well so it appears to be a tree. Did I interpret that correctly?

    Wildivy -

Many thanks for your submission. Your design is very nice, however, it is not what I'm going for. While representing my southern roots, I'm also wanting to see a light, whimsical feel, yet professional. Your design has too many color variations and is slightly busy for my taste.

    Thanks again!

Hey His Eye for Design -

I really like this design. It's whimsical, yet professional. You applied my brief descriptions very well. I'm sure this is a minor detail, however, I'm trying to decide if I want to go with the bright colors or more towards colors found in nature. Could you possibly show me a variety of fonts? I like what I see, however, I would like to compare with others that could possibly represent the feel I'm going for.

    Many thanks and great job!
