  design 13 is the closest. Just make the heavy outer rim red in the letter "O" and we are set. Leave the inside small rim of the scope and the crosshairs black.

  I do like the red "O" in design 4. I like the font too. I would just make the entire logo a slightly thicker font. The lighter part a little thicker and more noticable and the darker part a little thicker in relation to the Shelf. In other words, keep the same light / dark proportion but just make everything 20% darker overall so it stands out more.

  I like designs 4 and 5 very well due to the font and the clean lines. Not sure if I like the red "O" but that is a minor decision. I would just add the crosshairs to design 4 and 5 more like the ones in design 8 than design number 3.
  
  I dont like design number 2 due to the colors and the font. I like a more professional and clean font.

  you don't like bright colors, you don't like yellow, you don't like orange, you don't like green...would not be better to say what colors do you like? :)

  This logo is too generic and I dont like the choice of colors. I would like a more streamlined and contemporary logo - possibly using the "O" in Scout as a scope with crosshairs. Our software locates items and this would have valid meaning.
