The longer gears are looking better with draft #135 and #136 with the busyness removed. Now add some spacing between the logo and SAMSOLE so the logo can stand on its own. This will also correct the bad angle on the slant connecting the logo to the S in the SAMSOLE. Then adjust the bottom gear to match the gap at the top with parallel spacing. Looking good guys
Draft#129 is looking hot. artgfx24, can you take the middle piece out of the logo and also make the teeths on the gears less prominent or less sharp? It looks like something from the transformers trying to eat up "Samsole". A much shorter teeth on the gears might lighten the "machine" effect a little bit. Just a thought :-)
Shalvin, your drafts are looking good but we can't see it enlarged. All your drafts are just thumbsize and it's hard to see the details.
iDesign, we would like to see u apply the concept we've provided to draft#68
Nightqueen, your draft#114 logo reminds me of something I have seen somewhere before, but I can't recall. Where's ur inspiration from? We still like your font.
Also, everyone, please make sure to review the concept that we uploaded. While we don't want everything to look like that, a combination of logo + font uniqueness following that concept stands a high chance of being liked by us.
We would like to see draft#112, (and others) in that concept.
Also note that draft#112 has some similarlity to a draft that was eliminated due to copyright violations. So inspiration is OK, but copying is not.
Hi designers, I just uploaded a sketch of a design idea that we are yet to see. Not that we want everthing to look lit it, just a different idea than all the drafts so far...Can any of your existing drafts be formatted as the uploaded file so we can have different things to look at?
Thanks,
Samsole
Note sure how you access the uploaded file. It's a zip file with a jpg image in it.
Draft#16 and Draft #17: the ball looks good. We don't like the fonts. Too common. I guess that applies to a lot of the entries.
Generally, maybe adaptations of the standard fonts might be more interesting: Like join the feet of M&S in SAMSOLE, create a stike through SYSTEMS, etc. Something to show uniqueness.
Also, a TM mark would be good additions.
I know we are not going to be selling drinks, but draft #59, #60, #61, #62 reminds my too much of the Pepsi logo. the reason I have not eliminated them is because it kinda inspired draft#63...much better and somewhat away from pepsi. Maybe more can come out of that? Also the fonts are encouraging. so glad we came to you guys...though nothing yet is making us scream with joy:-)
Draft#4: The fonts look promising. Not crazy about the color combo though. Also the logo to the side of the lettering would take less space. "Systems" should be less prominent. Perhaps a different color?
Draft#12 and #13 also look promising. I like the ball. Not sure about the black color on the lettering. Also the fonts is too mainstream. Looking for something that we can trademark (I guess that was the point :-)
AS an aside, most of the fonts used on most of the drafts are pretty similar. Something driving that? Need a little more out of the box kind of graphics. Please send me some questions if I can help answer or clarify what we are hoping for. I am really excited and hoping for a good final draft soon. Thanks everyone.
Draft#7 looks like a pepsi logo :-). Also maybe the S inside the ball can be more prominent? Maybe a different color combination to depart from it looking like pepsi?
Would like to see the text be more unique.
Also the "LLC" can be removed. not necessary.
Draft#9 has some potential:
(1)integrating the colors from "systems" into the round image might look good.
(2) The ball almost reminds me of gears! Could work. Maybe some play with the letter S in the gear?
(3) Would like to see the text be more unique and the word "Systems" less prominent. I like the gray though.
