thanks for all of the submissions today!! I am very pleased with the progress. A few of the drafts are on the verge of 4 stars for me but I'm going to let other members of my team validate my opinions before I upgrade the stars. So far I have learned that I like designs that have the following characteristics:
* multiple sails
* 3+ colors
* display movement
* use a creative/fun font (on this note, if your design currently only shows a standard block font - please provide a sample with a more creative font)
comments on draft #4: I really like the multiple sails in this draft. The font works much better for me too. For me this draft would be improved if the sails showed more speed...
comments on draft #2: I enjoy the color combination here and the top of the sail really appeals to me. The "hull" of the logo doesn't do it for me and the font is too 'star trek'. I also prefer the 3D effect of draft #1 to draft #2.
Thanks for the submission.

comments on draft #1: I like the color scheme and overall shape. To me, the symbol between the company title brings up religious undertones which I don't want. Maybe if we overlay multiple sails on top of each other we could portray the competitive aspects of this business?
Thanks for the early entry, I look forward to reviewing future revisions.

After comparing drafts, I can provide a few more guidelines:
* my colors are blue, green, & orange/red
* I prefer abstract representations rather then literal
* I prefer 3D rather than flat logos.
I hope this helps, if I can be of further help, please let me know.
