Designers... Thank you all so much for your creative and innovative designs! We've been really impressed and so appreciate all your hard work. In the end the design that our clients liked best was #260.
Wow, some great ideas and creativity coming out at the last minute. Keep up the good work!
We've ranked the submissions by stars, so make sure and view all the submissions by star ranking to see the type of designs that are proving to be more popular.
Thank you for all of your excellent submissions. We appreciate all your hard work!
We are getting a clearer idea of what will work best. We are asking clients for feedback and here's what we are narrowing it down to:
1. No shells.
2. No waves.
3. Red and white on a black background.
4. Yes to sails! Abstract is good. Best liked so far are the sails in #55, #73, #90, #100, #125.
Please submit your best logos by Sunday night 8/28 (USA Time) so that we can email out clients our top 3 favorites and have them vote.
Wow, some excellent, new and fresh ideas for today! Thanks...
Paperku, love the way you've tried to combine a wave, the nautilus shell and a sail in your logos. #112 has real potential. Maybe just reduce the size of the wave a little and increase the size of the sail?
I like the abstract shell in #98, it just needs to be smaller and work together a little more with the words.
Would be interested in seeing more designs use the angular type sails in #38. This could be interesting (see the links to pictures on August 23rd post for shapes)
Great start! Thanks for your creativity and innovation so far...Appreciate it!
Some thoughts: #4 & #5, love the font! The logo really works well with the image forming a great shape ... strong overall appearance. Would like a more masculine shell though .., something about it says "Luxury hotel" or "spa".
#8, like the abstract sail! Can it be bolder, perhaps more like paint brush strokes for the sail? Try some other fonts; something young, hip and fresh. I'm open to more graffiti like fonts here, as long as they are legible.
#12, like the simplicity of the logo. Clean, crisp and flows well together. Can the swirl be more masculine and edgy? More brush stroke like perhaps ... or ?
Here are a couple of pics of sailboats under sail for those of you working on sail shapes. Notice the sleek, sexy, but more angular lines on newer yachts. We could even incorporate the hull and the entire boat, and not just sails?

Any other abstract sail ideas like these? We are finding that our clients like SIMPLE and SAILS on their own, combining red and white colors.
Thank you for your creativity and hard work!!!

Thoughts for today:
Fonts we like: #5, #22, #62, #29
Sail shapes we like: #63, #55, #38, #33
Shell shapes we like: #22, #5 (Really like using the shell to become the dot over the "i" in #22 & #5!)
Colors:Like the way #22, #36 and #55 use multiple colors in the sail or shell.
Keep the designs coming! Thanks...
