Punch Line - Spice combinations, unlimited! (our punch line in the brief does not have the comma and the exclaimation mark. Please add that).
#16 - Spices are showing up very well. Great color combination. We liked the overall layout. You have used the punch line with punctuation marks - good. One are a of improvement - Can you reduce the size of the fan so that the fan with the spices and the literal - "Spice Junction" are balanced?
#8 - Overall good concept. Change the "Spice Junction" fonts. And instead of the bottles, can you show spices? And a powdered flow coming from them? Use punch line with punctuation
#7 - Very good depiction. Can you prepare another design based on the feedback given yesterday specifically for your design? Use punch line with punctuation.
#28 - Very nice concept. Can you create alternate designs with a differnt font? Also, instead of the salt shaker, can you show whole spices instead and their powder flowing into the center of the bowl?
#15 - Well done. The spoon-fork concept was innovative. Can you show spices in the four color that you have around the spoon?
Everyone is doing a terrific job. We are having a really hard time to eliminate designs as some of them were really good. Those who got eliminated, please don't get disheartened as we have about 5 days left and you can build upon the concept that has shaped up thus far.
Good luck to all the creative folks submitting wonderful work! We are really excited to have such good work coming in.
Today (Wednesday) evening EST, we all partners had a review and here is our feedback:
Overall everyone has a done a good job!
#7 & #8 - In general - both have conceptulized our idea very well.
#7 - Has very well depicted the "Junction". We also liked the dual use of the chili as a spice and the pole.
#8 - Has very well depicted the "combination" or coming together.
What needs to be build on for #7 & #8 - Retaining the entire #7, we want to combine the concept of #8 on top of it. Instead of the 5 bottles and liquid like flow mixing together, we want some (5 or so) typical spices (use garlic, clove, cinnamon, flower like spice from #11, etc) and a powdered flow from these 5 to the point just above the chili. The green cap of the chily may be turned to the left by 90 degrees and the powdered flow going into the chili
#5 - The concept is in line what we had in mind. However, we were not able to distinctly tell what the green item represented. Seems like a bay leaf. We want the flame taken off.
#13 & 14 - these are good improvements in the direction of #5. We will review them tomorrow.
#3 - The flame is just too big. I now think that so much importance to the flame may actually give a negative effect. There is more to spices than just being "hot". Try to bring out the "flavor" part of spice as well.
Please read the brief carefully. The logo needs to have a considerable amount of spices and creatively show them mixing together. Try to use spices in the alphabets of the name.
Here are some examples that I would like you to refer:

The logo needs to have a WOW effect... something similar to the logos located here http://designshack.co.uk/articles/graphics/50-fantastically-clever-logos. Try to creatively write Spice Junction using spices.

Here is what you will have to work on - Can you creatively add spices in the name alphabets "Spice Junction"?
Remember you need to make these two concepts very evident - 1. "Spice" 2. "Junction"
