would like to bring into attention a few points which most of the designers who entered this contest would agree..'
you never mentioned that you required a symmetric design.
you never mentioned that you have selected the design and just wantto see the font and color variations..
which i knew so i just provided a better version of you liking .. rest i provided many original designs on which you failed to interpret properly..
You had denied you didnt need the roof deviating the creativity to another direction and you should have ended the contest early if you already had decided what you wanted to go with ...
Thanks and look forward to se your next contest.. Cheers for the ripoffs !
Koncepts, your final submissions are almost direct ripoffs of another person's designs. Even if I liked one of yours better I wouldn't award you the prize just based on that alone.
Rocker- I think I'm convinced that #34 is the best design. Everybody I talked to likes the font in #34 better than the font in #66. The spacing of the font in #66 is distracting.
Can you please give me a few color combinations of #34? Something that appeals to women but not feminine. Greens, Blues, Wine, deep rust....
You're the designer, show me what you think looks good.
Koncepts- thanks for continuing to put out original ideas, I appreciate your input.
#57 and #58 won't translate well to a yard sign seen from a distance. Too much small detail that will just look confusing.
#60 is interesting, I kind of like it but it goes back to the freestanding logo separate from the name that I don't seem to like as much.
#63, I don't care for the two tone, but the design is not eliminated, nor is #60 The green in #63 is too bright.
I'm interested in color combinations put together by designers too. So far they have basically been colors I have asked for, I want to see what YOU think is a good color combination.
I want to convey "established" without being stuffy. Also, I don't want it to be TOO masculine, as women are the decision makers when it comes to real estate. That's why I thought about the darker green and a rich rust color, something other than black.
Rocker- #66 and #34 continue to bubble to the top for me . I noticed in #66 that the adjusted spacing of the font is much more noticeable between the A and the N than it is in #34. I like the bolder font of #66, do you have other fonts you could try that are bolder like that? If it is not to much trouble, can you also give me a few other color pairings? I like the green in #66, what else would go well with that? The rust color looks a bit orange to me, maybe something deeper and richer? Thanks for your time and efforts.
#64, #65, thank you, but not what I am looking for.
Dave- #50, I can't bring myself to eliminate these, I really like the happiness of the design. My hangup is that I'm not sure they convey the right message to my uppity clients. I think in this case they are too casual to be posted in front of a multi million dollar home...but I really like them!
#48- Doesn't make sense to me, and the name of the company is misspelled.
ALL- I'm leaning towards something like design #34.
I DO NOT want just a roof over the name. I'm looking for something integrated with the name, NOT a logo independent of the name.
I DO NOT want red white and blue, it needs to be upscale.
I'm interested in color pairings, maybe a rust and a darker green? I'll leave it up to you to decide what you think goes together well.
Rocker- in regard to #34, different colors and a bolder font would be interesting. After seeing #45 with aviano bold I don't like it as much as I thought I would. I appreciate you centering the second A in Alliance with the peak of the roof, very subtle but it makes a difference. On #34 it's just a matter of colors and font selection.
#34 with different colors and using the Aviano Bold would be interesting to see. This is the only "rooftop" design I like. A little more emphasis on the word Alliance would be good. With that many angular lines in the design I want the letters to stand out more. I like the real estate across the bottom. Can you design it with some colors that are a little more upscale? Re/Max uses the red, white and blue scheme.
I'm trying to picture each submission on a yard sign in front of a $2,000,000 property as well as a $200,0000 property.
Koncepts- those new designs are too heavy and unbalanced for my liking. Difficult to read from a distance and wouldn't look good on a yard sign. Thanks for doing them though, every design helps me decide which way I want to go.
Rocker- Thank you for your designs. Although I think that adding a roof to the name is terribly overdone in real estate, #34 is intriguing. Any chance you can incorporate Aviano Bold into that design?
Dave- #41 does look better to me tightened up. Can you move the double green line over to the right side and see if that balances it better? I'd like to see "Real Estate" made a bit smaller and spaced wider too. Can you also scale down the house a bit? I'm interested in other colors of the house too...I'm not in love with orange.
I don't want it to look like a logo AND a name if possible.
Dave- I like #16, but can you get the design closer to the word somehow? I'm trying to get the word and the logo more integrated, so I'm thinking that putting the green lines closer to the word and making the house a bit smaller might accomplish that. I don't want it to look like a logo and a name, I'd like it to look like one.
I think playing with the scale might hit on something. Any other ideas are appreciated too.
Koncepts- I like that font, but I see two snowy mountain peaks in the logo.. Thanks for your designs, I appreciate your time on this and hope you continue to contribute
ALL- Do you have any ideas that integrate the word more in the design? Less of a separate logo and more of an integration of design into the word itself. Using the font from #7 would be nice if possible, but not required.
Thanks Koncepts. I agree on the removal of the colored portion between the A and the N like you did in #22.
I'm not in love with the blue though, it still seems cold and distant to me, and likely wouldn't show up well on a yard sign from a distance.

#17- I don't care for the font and the colors look very cold. My favorite font thus far is in #7.
Feel free to stylize just the name Alliance too, I'm not convinced I need a logo, although some of these designs are great!
