  Sorry, the lamp of knowledge is a sort of genie looking oil lamp as opposed to script/words. The quotation marks were confusing.
  #3 looks good.
  A clearer font and maybe just the bottom half of the compass would be more aligned with our idea.:-)

  I am not opposed to possibly somthing incorperating the "lamp of knowledge" or a medical theme since we're mainly health and medical.

  Misspelled the name. I like the font. Not a fan of the mortarboard. I like the symmetry.

  I like the compass. Colors are good. Flames are difficult and I think this one is a too prominent. Font is nice clean and clear.
