To all the designers - Thanks for all the effort so far!
We have update our project with the latest star ratings. Please use that to better understand what we like and what we don't.
We are very excited with all the designs so far. Please keep them coming in. Don't be afraid to do something unique and as-of-yet unseen in other designs.
alocelja - Design #36. Not bad, but the "O" looks too much like President Obama's campaign logo. Most of my customers did not vote for him, so that would be a bad association to make.
x3mart - I like your designs #29 and #30 because they incorporate some new colors and are of the "boxed in" style.
My concern is that the way the radio graphic is placed. It really decreases overall readability of the text. Perhaps you can experiment with different sizes and placement?
General feedback to all - I've eliminated a few designs that have no chance of being selected.
I would like to see a few more designs that incorporate a "boxed in" style such as design #5.
I also like how the three different words are separated by color (i.e. MY is not the same color as PROGRAM or RADIO).
Also, feel free to experiment with colors other than Red, White, and Blue. We have a large number of those designs already and it might be nice to see some other options.
Oh, one last thought, I was thinking that someone might try a design incorporating some "signal waves" somewhere. Not sure if it would be coming from the radio or used elsewhere in the design.
ARdes - Design #17 - Looks nice, but the graphic gives me a feeling of "road construction company". We are more closely related to public safety police/fire/ambulance.
Design #6 incorporates a neat idea of a person holding a radio. I would be curious to see a few other designs with that idea ( in addition to our current favorite style of having the radio as a letter in the word).
ARdes - Design #5 - Can you show us a few drafts with a few different colors? A dark orange (like in FedEx) for instance. A dark red (like in Marriott logo).
It might also be nice to see a greyscale version included if possible.
Hi Corpz - Design #4 - I like the way you fit the radio drawing in as the letter "d". That looks really good!
The black on white background looks really nice too! The three colors seem to weaken the design however. Can you submit a few drafts trying a 2-color design? Also, can you draft a version using fonts similar to Bombardier", "White Rabbit", "Hemi Head", and "Ericsson GA628"? These fonts have a more technical feel to them.
Hi - Here are some fonts I think look good: "Bombardier", "White Rabbit", "Hemi Head", and "Ericsson GA628".
The colors are fine, I do not think it is necessary to reduce the number of colors. It would be helpful to include both a color version and black & white version.
I'm not too crazy about the reflection, but better to include it in the logo for now. I suppose I can cut that portion out later if needed.
Feel free to experiment with how to integrate the radio graphic into the logo design.
I'm really looking forward to see more of your ideas. Thanks!
TCald - You are definitely on the right track here with design #3.
The font, however, looks a bit too soft for my clients. I need something that looks more strong. My clients are firemen and policemen mostly. Perhaps you can try a few designs that incorporate a more masculine font? Maybe throw up a version with everything italicized? Another option might be a more narrow font.
Seriously, though, you've got the essence of the idea. Thanks!

This is a nice idea. I like it. Can you experiment with a few different fonts? My concern is that the readability is limited.
