No one seems to have used the concept of shadowing as shown in the Braylor example attached to my brief. Is there anyone willing to try that direction?
It would be a simple name, with perhaps my initials (or some variant of the logo) as a shadow, no symbol. And, of course, I still need the tagline.
If anyone can offer something in that vein, I would like to consider it.
You may upload multiple variations of one logo in one draft for the presentation purpose. However, winner of the contest will have to send final files with each version separated hence, one file should only have one color version of the finalized logo.
We would appreciate your cooperation in this regards.
draft # 3,
definite progress, but with some of the same issues regarding the two D's and their relative size.
Also I would prefer a metallic gold to the orange. The orange/black combo does not have a positive connotation.
I like the look created with the black block, particularly the way it concentrates the focus.
I am new at this, so perhaps this is not an issue, but once I have a logo I will be using it on invoices etc that people print for themselves. That block looks like it would use a substantial amount of ink.

It is a good start and feels like a right track.
The "r" in the Dr is not immediately readable to me. And the required tagline "clinical psychologist" is nowhere in evidence.
Since people do sometimes call me Dr D, I would think that the D of Dzaman would be larger than that of the Dr and not obscured.
I particularly like the placement of the "zaman" mid D.
I could also go with a more interesting font, but I do like this one if it is what works when it comes together.
Good potential all around I would say.
Thank you.
