I want to thank everyone for participating in this contest/competition. I really appreciate the efforts and creativity expressed by all. There are approximately 3 hour let to submit concepts. I have given specific feedback on certain designs, but I am still open and surprised at some of the unique takes on both my original idea, the feedback and just genuine creativity I've seen with original ideas.

If those who received feedback for changes could get those in, that would be great...but if somebody comes with something new I'm up for that as well.

    Thanks in advance!!!!

Quick update: The graphical element of the logo is very important as I expect to use that aspect sometimes as a watermark by itself. If you can pull it out as a watermark in some of the drafts so I can see how it works that would be great.

My advice is be creative. I'm a designer as well as photograph but I came to you guys because I wanted, and am willing to pay for, fresh ideas. I have/had an idea if what I wanted, but I want ideas from people who aren't as narrowly invested in the project as I am. If I were you I'd surprise me. Act as if you were a photographer and the name of your company is pictureworx or the pictureworx and ask yourself how u would convey that idea. I am, obviously or not, open to suggestion. I would be very happy if someone came up with something I'm not thinking of at all but better conveyed what I want to my target audience - modern high school seniors and secondarily their families. Go for broke - use my project info as a guide/outline, but feel free to step outside the box. For example, at no point did I say I wanted to see a camera...but one designer added that in and is currently the one with the most stars. I didnt see that as an option until they showed it. Please look at what I want, but BE BOLD!!! And also, look at some of the best stuff in your portfolios and see how you could tweak it to my concept/vision. Trust me, I have looked at all of your portfolios and have seen some things that make think and that I hope you will incorporate in my design. Thank you all, your efforts are truly appreciated !!!!

I'm more impressed each time I see drafts. I really like 19...it has the concept down. I love the aperture graphic in 21 & 22.

The work so far is really cool. I would like to see either of the following:

    1. A more three dimensional candy or metallic looking aperture

    2. What the logo might look like a little distressed...kind of like a passport stamp

    3. A few different fonts. I honestly like the font in 19 a lot, but sometimes you need to see something a little different to know for sure.

Ok Iove the font used on 17, 10, 8 and 5 best do far. I love the aperture on 17 but would like to see something a little bigger with the gear around the aperture. The aperture/gear can be of a candy or translucent nature....3 dimensional, if necessary it would need to be able to be conveyed 2D , but would like to see just the graphic element in 3D translucent

Wow you guys are quick and awesome. I really like numbers 5, 8 & 10. 8 and 5 have a full camera element, not waht I'm looking for, but definitely looks good - you have me thinking. 10 has the layout I'm looking for...almost. Instead of a lens around a gear, it should be an aperture opening (i.e. camera blades) inside of the gear. That is the vision. #12 has the concept down, but it isn't as clean or easy to discern as i'd like. Right direction, just needs tweaking.

Drafts 1-4 grasp basic concept but needs to be taken further. you have exceptional work in your prtfolio that has more translucent qualities, cleaner but modern fonts, and more dynamic graphical elements. If you could incorporate some of those elements that would be great. You really have great work. I'd really like to see the gear/aperture more translucent grey or blue and a more easily readible but similarly clean font set. Similar to other work in the designers portfolio.
