To bigred22, JSdesign and wdmpk,
Thank you all for your tremendous designs. It has been a pleasure watching what your imaginations have thrown out there! As time is winding down, I really don't have much to add as you have given me some tough decisions to process. Only thing is if there are color combinations that YOU like don't hesitate.
My thanks to everyone who participated in this project. All the designs were very creative and even though some didn't get rated, it's only because I was looking for something else.
I have to work tomorrow between 7AM - 3PM(central time US) and if you would like a color change or any adjustment I will take a look on my phone. Hopefully #207 and #208 are what you are looking for.
Thanks for the tips and updates greatly appreciated!!!
To bigred22 and JSdesign, you have both been outstanding and the designs/combinations have been fantastic. Thank you for your hard work! #200 through #206 have given me some nice choices. Two more requests though, instead of the spray gun, could you give me a brush with the same stroke as the gun? This would give me a choice between the two. Also, instead of keeping the company name inside the transom could you try the company name all the way through and using the larger font, with "yacht refinishing" under the transom, if that makes sense? You're so close. #198/199, you just keep them coming! Very impressive, thank you.
To bigred22, I am liking #179 and #177, however...the boot stripes are all running together and are very hard to see. Maybe leave the thin blue line white as that would separate the upper and lower colors. In #179 could you try Pemba Island (in the same font) over the transom in place of the steering wheel and also lessen the sharpness of the lower point? Thank you.
To wdmpk, I really only wanted a change with the spelling, the wake/wave and colors. You are staying with gold, blue and yellow which are in some other designers logos. I like your #183 design but you didn't change the "bow wave" to something more masculine, and any other ideas with color than what you have been staying with? Thanks.
To bigred22, perhaps through in one and a transom fade out in the other? Aso maybe the word "yacht refinishing" could be in the boot line being sprayed?
Hi Everyone,
I really like all the efforts that ALL of you have put into your designs, my respect. Later on I am going to start a process of eliminating some designs so that there is a clearer picture of what I am leaning towards. Thank you.
To #162, great flow with that one and I really like that you changed it up with numbers 163 to 165. It gives me a lot of options with the combinations. I also get a much better idea seeing it on t shirts. Thank you!
WoW! Things are really heating up in the kitchen. You guys, fantastic!
#168, if you know what a "boot" stripe is, some yachts have a combination of 2 to 3 painted stripes at the waterline. What about having the spray gun in the process of spraying a second stripe at the waterline? I like what you did with that design overall though. Very nice.
To #134, I still like your transom designs but they are not giving me the impact I would like. This one is great but I think slightly "busy". I am open to other colors, combinations that you visualize... if you're still in the race? Thanks for your efforts.
To #153, impressed with all the new submissions, different. #155 is a great design but too "hello sailor" for the company! Feel free with other colors you are partial too as well. Thanks for all your designs.
To #148, could you change the "refishing" to "refinishing" please, I had made a typo in the tag line. I am liking the overall style of this but I find the wake needs to be a bit more masculine. I am also still open to other color combinations that are striking together. Leave it up to you. Thanks.
#147, Nice change! Would it be possible to make the pot slightly bigger? Also any other ideas instead of the steering wheel, but not the porthole? I am still partial to a yacht transom as well. Thanks for all your efforts.
I am currently working on changing the spray gun on draft #103, but in the mean time I thought a shiny yacht window would be pretty eye catching in drafts #140#141 and #144 gives a good idea of what it would look like on apparel.
Hi Everyone,
I have entended the contest as I would like to get a bit more fine tuning with colors, fade outs, etc, etc.
When looking at a logo on the front/back of a shirt or cap, the logo itself needs to attract attention with the name as a follow up but still important. Thanks to all.
