Pedicin™ is a medical product in a cream form that comes in a tube. It will be prescribed by doctors and sold to their patients in the doctor’s office, mostly podiatrists (foot doctors) and possibly other doctors who specialize in treating diabetes. Pedicin is specifically indicated for the treatment of neuropathy in the feet, also known as diabetic neuropathy. This is common in people with diabetes because diabetes causes decreased blood flow in the feet. A person with diabetic neuropathy will experience loss of sensation in the feet. Common symptoms of diabetic neuropathy include painful tingling and numbness. Pedicin cream is rubbed all over the foot and it begins to increase blood in the foot. THIS INCREASED BLOOD FLOW IS THE CENTRAL AND KEY POINT OF THE PRODUCT. Therefore, if the icon/logo for the product can show increased blood flow, it would be good. If the icon/logo can show increased blood flow to the foot, it might be even better, but then again, it might look forced and old fashioned. My advice is for you to try both. A by-product of increased circulation is a sensation of increased warmth or heat in the foot. It is not the main point, but if the icon/logo can show increased circulation in the foot that leads to increased heat, maybe that would be okay. It may be trying to accomplish too much by forcing all that visual information into the icon/logo, so proceed with caution if you are playing with the idea of heat. It should not overshadow the main point if increased circulation. |

IMPORTANT: This is a 2-color logo/icon. One of the colors MUST be Pantone 180. The other color is up to you. However, it CANNOT be Pantone 1245 or Pantone 136. When you select your second color, keep in mind that it may look great in your high-resolution computer monitor, but the final use will be mostly in print. The client will judge the colors by actually looking at the Pantone color chips: one for Pantone 180 (coated) and one for your recommended color (coated). So, you can increase your chances of providing the winning logo by looking at the physical Pantone chips (coated) and not just your computer monitor. |

The tagline does not have to appear in every design you submit. The tagline should be independent of the logo/icon as sometimes we will use the tagline as a headline or not use it at all. Use a TM trademark symbol. |
