I need a logo for a small jewelry company that I am starting. My designs use semi-precious stones such as amethyst, jade, and turquoise as well as pearls. I would really like to incorporate a little of the Indian culture by incorporating an elephant element in the design. One idea we had was to have a decorated elephant in silhouette ( as they do in India - see http://www.flickr.com/photos/rowan-castle/1797872045/ to explain what I mean by "decorated") with its trunk turned up holding a bead. The elephant could be in a more neutral color, the bead in one of the jewel tone colors. I want a subtle nod to the Indian culture, not an overt one. I do not expect a detailed illustration - more of a simple graphic. I do not want the name in a samarkan type font. |
