  This may be silly and possibly a bad idea, but my first idea of a logo had a simple house in it that somehow 'Panther Construction' is easily supporting a part of the house that has cracked and settled and holdong it back together. Perhaps, a stick figure holding it up with 1 hand. I know this would be hard to do without it looking like a cheap cartoon. It shouldn't be too big to overwhelm the rest of the logo. If we can't find something like this we like, I would just go for a sharp name logo. If there's anyone out there that might be adventurous enough to try this, I applaud you.

  I really like the design coming in now. We will be using them for business cards, job signs and our website so I'd like to see each with some different colors if you have not done so already. At least one dark backround and one light (white, gray, beige, etc.).

  I think we should stay away from the abstract. I like the house symbols, but we do commercial work also. I think it might be best to concentrate on a sharp symbol with the company initials (PC).

  #1: a little too simple and you spelled 'Panther' and 'Construction' wrong.
  
  #2: Too cartoony, don't like bubble font.
