#165 - Don't like the font for 'Pan-Caribbean'. Can you change it to a handwritten font. (not elegant)
Like a brush maybe? To keep the rustic look you're going for.

    #175 Please correct spelling 'Company'.

Put sun in top section in center.

Make sugar-cane shorter so that stars can 'complete the border'. Do you understand?

    Make stars all same size.

#171 I like very much the realistic border. Want to see how this looks in spot colour. Don't like the fade sun light because it's too difficult to use as a logo for promotional material and cheap printing.

#172 I think it looks too busy. There is something there though. I will comment on this later when I think of how it can be adjusted.

    Hi,
I will have a go at it again. Glad to see that "sun" and sunrays have now been made official =) so I can use that too...

I have to extend the project. The owner liked 2 of the designs, but the changes are substantial in my view.

I'd like to have the new/adjusted entries by Friday, July 8, but I realise that it may be too close.

I will have to present new/adjusted logo tomorrow, but I can try buy some time.

    Here is what I need.

    1) The Sugar Cane is to be the border. Not a circle, but as if 2 pieces were tied together at the base and they flow around the design as the border.

    2) 5 'Red' stars along the top to complete border. (the owner has chinese heritage and wants to celebrate it).

    3) Sun and/or Sun Rays, or some representation of 'sun' within design (not outside of cane and stars). Do not make focus. I don't want the design to be too 'top' heavy with illustrations.

    3) 'Pan-Caribbean' in one line in centre with 'SUGAR' under that.

    4) 'Company Ltd' small anywhere.

So far, the ones with 5 stars are my favorites. However, any amount of stars means I'm interested somewhat in the design (depending on amount of stars), I just feels it needs some refining.

I've tried to direct each as best I can in comments, but at the end of the day it's your vision I like, it may just need a little extra time if you have it.

My deadline for having the first drafts is tomorrow 11am (GMT -5 hours).

Will let you know which one is to be finalised asap.

    Thanks everyone for their work!

#111 - #112 Please correct spelling in 'Caribbean'. Put a dash between Pan-Caribbean.

    Thanks!

#93 Can 5 stars be added to give impression of quality product.

#86 There is something I like about this.
Can each segment be a little longer. I'd like to see the shading/colouring in the middle removed and maybe a granular or crystal like appearance used instead. To represent brown sugar.

#41 I have to admit I still prefer the original design.

I understand you're trying to get 'PC' some more dominance as I asked, but it just doesn't have the same symmetry as the first. Will show both and see what is preferred.

#72 is an interesting approach. It's a little rough right now, but I'm liking the direction. Definitely something I will get feedback from owner about. Thanks!

#31 to #38 I loved the incorporation of the 'U'. Is there another way to make Pan-Caribbean more dominant without losing the 'U' with cane illustration?

Can it be split on the one side:
    Pan-
    Caribbean

I know the dash sticks out like a sore thumb, but maybe you can figure something out. Try not to lose the original 'U' though. Thanks.

#18 and #20 these have a certain corporate feel to them that the owner may like. Trouble is they seem a little too simple or cold, and don't have much of a 'localized' feel to them. The manufacturer doesn't wish to give a foreign impression as this has a negative connotation in Jamaica. Maybe something can be done to fix this. If not, I will still show them and see what they think of this approach. Thanks.

#12 and #14 I think there is just a little bit too much happening here. If you could simplify a bit. Don't love the font for #12 'sugar' either.

#28 - #30 Really like this look. If I had an issue, it would be that Sugar is now primary and everything else secondary.

I know I had mentioned before that I wanted more attention towards 'Sugar', but it was in response to the first draft that had 'sugar' in the same line as 'company limited'.

It seems that now I'm getting the opposite, and 'Pan-Caribbean' is taking the back seat. I am not saying both 'PC' and Sugar need to have the same strength, but I still want Pan-Caribbean to be highlighted as this will differentiate this particular manufacturers sugar vs. other manufacturers of sugar. The distributors need to be able to tell instantly which supplier of sugar this is. I hope I'm making sense.

    FYI: 'Caribbean' doesn't have 2 'R's.

#26 I like, but it's has a wheat look about it. Can that be fixed?

Oh, there has to be a dash between Pan-Caribbean. That was made clear in meeting by owner. Thanks.

Draft #1: Like, but would like to see some more attention to the word 'SUGAR'. Thanks.
