WE HAD ARRANGED TO DISCUSS OUR FINAL SELECTION THIS WEEKEND AND THEN IRENE HIT THE COAST! MY PARTNER IS ON LONG ISLAND AND HAS LOST ALL POWER. LOGO DESIGN GURU HAS NICELY GIVEN US AN EXTENSION TO MAKE OUR FINAL DECISION -- WE THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE.
THANKS FOR ALL YOU SUBMISSIONS. THIS WAS TOUGHER THAN WE THOUGHT. WE WILL BE TAKING A FEW DAYS TO DETERMINE THE WINNER. PLEASE LEAVE YOUR SUBMISSIONS UP.
Would love to see how #61's color scheme works on the page.
#71 and #73 are definitely headed in the right direction. Would like to see the way the "Talking Horses Since..." is presented on #71 also applied to #73.
Comment on Drafts #56 to #58 -- The illustration must be of a thoroughbred race horse if you wish to have any chance, regardless of the quality of your design.
It would be very helpful if submissions included a placement on the webpage similar to Drafts #53 & #54 so we get a better visual of what it will look like.

We're going to extend this thing a few days because I've finally decided what I would ultimately love to see.
As I've already stated, this logo will be placed in the same spot as the existing logo at the top of paceadvantage.com with the existing "rail dirt track" image as the background that it sits on top of.
I would love to see an original representation of two horses and perhaps even two jockeys racing together AND debating with each other, just like the memebrs of my website do on a daily basis. The website is a discussion board about thoroughbred horse racing, and there are many heated debates every single day on the board.
If we could have perhaps even a semi-cartoonish representation of two horses and two jockeys debating each other as they race down that "dirt strip" at the top of the page, and also incorporate the website name "PaceAdvantage.com" along with "Talking Horses Since 1999" -- that would be exactly what we're looking for.
I would like to point out one very important point. This new logo will be dropped exactly where the current "logo" sits at paceadvantage.com.
Meaning, it will be sitting atop that "dirt track rail" background you see at the top of the page. Ideally, the colors of this new logo should work with that "rail" background as well as the rest of the color scheme on that page.
A few general comments on what has been submitted so far.....the horse must be without a doubt a race horse; not a show horse, jumper or saddlesless horse. The sites members are hardcore thoroughbred racing guys!
One logo will be used for the web banner...691 x 150 and must include the tag line "Talking Horses Since 1999"; and must be PaceAdvantage.com.
The other logo is for apparel and should have a version with and without the .com
Draft #9 has too much green. Likely needs a three color combo like Draft #6 but in colors that go with the green. Logo is to be used for embroidery so it can't use spectrum color.
Draft #5 is better. I would likely keep the text colour as one -- maybe try other fonts. It would be nice to see some other concepts completely different from this from you.
Draft #3 is better but the use of color is not right. Red, White & Blue was just a suggestion if it worked with the logo but those colors don't work with the green. You would need to go in one direction or the other.

Hopefully, we can see the other logos in this fashion.

Would like to see Draft #27 in the green tones!
Would like to see some versions that include a jockey aboard the race horse.

Draft #12 is capturing the feel of speed and a strong thoroughbred presence! Again, the green with red doesn't work though.
