    Congratulations to the winner. I also agree I was a bit disappointed with this contest as it was very confusing as to what was wanted. THe latest comments were that the client wanted roots, lighthouses, organic, pathways, road etc. but what was chosen has neither of those things... just a bit confusing.

    I apologize for the confusion with this project. I feel like we took it on at a very busy time for us and haven't been able to stay on top of it at the level it requires or deserves.

    auraavatary we like the shape of the tree in 817 but we would like to see a root system. Also if you can experiment with colors that would be great.

    We wonder what designs might be made with Lighthouses... most of the ones that were made with lighthouses, organic growth, trees...

    nciseLogo #676 is neat. We like the concept of a path or a road leading to the cross. We just felt like it might be better to take the concept and try different colors, fonts, H's (if one at all).

    luisvaz #769 is a neat concept. we like the doorway, but we feel like altogether it would be really hard to brand.

    JoshVisuaLFX #685 looks great. We got some good feedback on it. We like the color and the style. The only thing that we have run into is several people noticed the arrow pointing down and that wasn't positive.

    auraavatary #690 looks great. The thing we ran into with this logo is many people felt that it wasn't fitting with a 20- something age group. Although many liked the idea of a house bringing safety. But we needed to explain the leaf and the cross in the window.

    Hexart#705 We liked the way that you wrote Haven of Hope. The house inside the H was a stretch for some to really make out.

    Designers: Keep in mind the logo has to look good printed on paper. This is not just a logo for the internet.

    Thanks for all of the designs. We are getting closer to making a decision.


    We do not want anything that is too busy.

    We have to be able to have our logo everywhere without it being overwhelming. On the carpet in the doorway of our main entrance, on signs, banners, etc...

    Some of the designs are trying to tie too many concepts into one without it flowing naturally.
