'Ocean Focus' - We are a not for profit organisation

  Ocean Focus

  Bringing Ocean Conservation into Focus

  Yes

Ocean Focus is educational resource based primarily around a website. This website provides information about different marine related conservation issues from species to habitats to legislation. In addition, it will provide downloadable factsheets, videos and visitors will also be able to book talks/presentations about the different topics. The organisation is not for profit and there are currently no plans to sell products or services.

Abstract

We like coulours that are near white such as putty/beige but also like the colour orange. We are reasonably open to colour suggestions but bear in mind that the logo will most likely be displayed on a relatively dark, petrolly blue backdrop.

  not sure

Although we have stated we are not sure about the number of colours, we have come across a few very good logo's that have just one colour. The logo in the top left corner of this website: http://h2oildoc.com/home is excellent. We really like the look of the text/logo being stamped on. In addition please look at the video here:http://vimeo.com/18620636 as an excellent guide to the kind of feel and colour scheme we are looking for. The text at the very end of the video is another good example of 'stamped' font.
Also, perhaps something could be done with the word 'Focus' in our name? As we are 'focusing' on ocean issues, it might be a suggestion that the 'O' in Focus plays on that concept.
