  Thanks everyone for all the great designs. Many have been very creative and I appreciate all your hard work. It is hard to choose just one. Thanks also to those that have submitted just recently but it looks like we have run out of time. I wish we could have seen some of your designs earlier and had a chance to work together. We will be submitting a project for stationary and business cards right as this finishes. I hope many will participate.

  #61 the green makes it look like an eco statement and the dripping looks too much like melting. More of a tear look. #57 and #60 are interesting but the body looks too cartoonish. Also I think putting more emphasis on cry and poor and less on the of the would be better.

  #58 looks too busy with the eye and the map and the logo. can you try taking out the eye and maybe having a letter of the text with a tear falling? #59 is very cool with the world as the eye.

  #47 is interesting with the hands but they look like eyebrows attached to the word poor. Can you seperate them from the word. Also can you try other fonts? Thanks.

  #48 is interesting with the map. The eye is harsh looking. Perhaps just thinner lines showing eye? I like the red in the font also. Can we try other fonts? "The" and "of the" maybe smaller than Cry and Poor.

  I was thinking about #10, #14 that the blue circle reminded me of the world. We are an international organization working in numerous countries so maybe a globe or map of the world worked in somehow would be nice. I was looking at another design project for an organization called VPA and saw a design there #47 that was interesting. Thanks

  YES! i will explore other color choices and fiddle with the design a bit and try to make it work. Although when i think of a teardrop i think of the color blue... anyways, i will get to work! Thanks!

  What I mean about other directions is that most of the designs that came through were either black and white or blue and white. I asked for the other colors that have been submitted. Some of the submissions were cartoonish and that is not what I am looking for. I don't have an exact idea in mind but am hoping that when I see it I will know it. I am wide open to see any designers ideas and not just stuck on the eye and tear design although I do think many of them are good. I hope that helps. I really do appreciate all the work and the logo will be used in all of our materials and T-shirts so it is really important to us that we love it. Thanks to all. If I am not clear on something please communicate. Or if anyone needs more input let me know.

  Can we try some different colors. Also the logo needs to look professional as we need to approach donors to fund the work.
  
  Our marketing materials will have pictures of sad kids so the logo does not have to be that somber.

  Draft #4, #5, #6 the name of the organization is : The Cry of the Poor. Sorry if that messes up your designs. The and of the can be caps or lower case whatever you think works. I do like the emphasis on Cry on #5

  Thanks for posting some designs. I don't know if I filled out the brief clearly. I would like to see the text be the logo with possibly the abstract eye with a tear off to the side or maybe no eye at all.
