Designers, Thank You! You created some great concepts and we were pleased with many, many of the designs. Our biggest problem was choosing one from amongst the many great designs. Just for feedback purposes, our committee chose three finalists: #68, #171 and #90. Unfortunately, we couldn't pick all three! Our winner was #90. We look forward to working with you all on future projects!
EpicOne, I appreciate your handwork and the time you've taken to send in a design but I'm afraid the concepts you've submitted so far aren't what we are looking for.
Room171 and Typography: Thank you SO much for loading up higher res versions. This will help our design group be able to see your hard work in much better detail! Great job!
Caturro, #75 and #76 are good designs. Can you make the red/pink into a deeper maroon color? We're kinda focused on using a dark navy and maroon base color system. I also would like to see #73 with the cross rather than the tree as the trunk (more like #75.) Great work!
Rockin67, some of our team like #61 a lot! Can we see #61 without the moon (sphere) shape behind the tree and without the woodblock frame around he logo element? We like the rounded rectangular shape but aren't sure about the woodblock. Thanks!
Designers, still looking for other concepts (although we really like some of the ones we've already gotten). We would like to see some designs that are built around the name of the church and/or initials rather than a separate logo element with the wording beside/below. This is not a criticism of the designs we've already received, rather we just want a wide variety of concepts to choose from. Thanks again for your hard work!
Designers - What a great job all of you are doing. I love some of the connections we are seeing with the designs that emphasize the church building, the road, the agriculture (vineyards) and/or oak trees. When you upload your design, please include a large enough source file that we can get a clear resolution when we click on that particular image and want to see it in a slightly larger format. This is helpful to the group that is selecting the design.
Also - we really like the use of designs that work on multiple different kinds of backgrounds (for example #54 and #55) Again, If you include the different format styles in a single design page (as in the above listed designs), please help us get a clear picture of your design by including a larger data file. Thanks!
Room171 - Great Design on #53. I like the oak tree, small church and agricultural connections while you kept the road motif! A couple of requests. Can we see the logo element on the left of the church name and can we also see the tag line in the red/maroon? Also, can we darken the blue font to a darker navy? Good work on this design and thanks for the fresh approach!
Carolina, we love your designs in 50 & 51! I like the idea of the tree emerging from the cross shaped trunk. A couple of requests. Can we see the trunk/cross get more emphasis (slightly larger in proportion to the tree maybe)? Also, can we see your design with the tagline under the Niblick Rd. wording. Thanks!
ALL DESIGNERS: Thank you so much for all the design concepts we've already seen. We like quite a few of them and may ask you for further drafts adjusting individual concepts. We are still looking for NEW and fresh concepts. We are especially interested in seeing concepts that DON'T emphasize the Road. Perhaps a tie in to our lovely oak trees, our vineyards and/or the local olive orchards. We are still looking for concepts that emphasize our heritage and our engagement of the future as well.
Indee007, thanks for submitting some design concepts. Draft #41 looks good. Can we see it with the tagline and with the logo element on the left side of the writing? Thanks!
Room171, I like #47. Thanks for the other fresh design concepts as well! Can we see #47 with the logo element on a different shape background besides a shield? A circle element maybe? Could we see the design elements without a background at all? Thanks!
Caturro, thanks for the new design concept. It's not quite what we are looking for but I appreciate the idea. We are still looking for a design that incorporates heritage with the future. We are also open to design concepts that connect us with our community. See the brief for information on Paso Robles, CA.
All in all, we are very happy with how this design process is progressing! Thanks to all who've submitted ideas.
Typography, we like #26 and #27 but would like the blue to be a much darker navy color. See the brief for suggested color reference. Can we see those designs with the tagline below the words "Niblick Rd."? Thanks!
Rockin67, can we see #34 without the color bars on top and bottom but with the Tagline added below the Niblick Road Baptist Church wording. We would also like to see the logo element placed to the left of the wording rather than above it. Thanks!
Thinktwice, can we see draft #12 with the tagline beneath Niblick Rd. Baptist Church? We would also like to see #12 and #33 with the logo element on the left "Niblick Road" rather than above it.
Think Twice, can we see Draft #8 and Draft #9 with the Tagline in an arc around the logo element or in a line below the church name? Also, can we see #8 with the words Baptist Church in the maroon color? Some of our team members really like this concept!
Typography, Draft #19 is definitely better. We need to lose the green since that's not in our color scheme. Can we try making the hills blue? Also, can we adjust the road divider lines away from gray and use one of the other (Blue/Maroon) colors. Thanks for making the adjustments.
Typography, I like draft #18 very much. Can we clean it up and make it only in maroon, white and blue? We really want a clean color design. Maybe use just one cross and I'm not a big fan of the rays coming off the crosses.
ThinkTwice, I like the concept and colors you used in #12. It's a clean, simple design which is one of the key things we are looking for. SCWalker04, I like the abstract part of #16 but we need to have a more classic look. Can we make the red in #16 into a Maroon and go with a more classic typeface rather than the big block letters?
Great work so far everyone! We are seeing a lot of good ideas. Still looking for someone who's going to come up with concepts that connect our heritage with our future and us to our community.
I like the color scheme in #9. The ideas used by ThinkTwice do seem derivative of Rockin67's work. Rockin67, I like the hills in your earlier work. I would like to see something similar to #11 but with the red/blue color scheme and no glow from the cross. Thanks! A strong beginning from all.
We still want to see other design concepts. Perhaps one that doesn't use the road motif?
