We are not much fans of using the "plus" symbol within the logos or within the symbol of the company. We thought we'd like this at first, but none of them seem to portray the model of our company.
We are also fans of the horizontal layout with a symbol to the left of the text styles. We like that far better than placing the symbol above.
I would however like to note, that a few submissions look like ripoffs of other artists work, and other logos out there. When I mentioned that 48 was the one to beat, it was in hopes of getting everyone to understand the "feel" we were going for. I hope we can get more unique concepts and not just copies or slight variations of work already done by other designers whether here or from other work on the Internet.
Lastly, Please refrain from taking a logo concept of another company, slightly modifying it, and then submitting it. That could get us in hot water down the road with those professional organizations which have trademarked their logos, not to mention we wish to be 100% unique.

1) Symbols: we are liking #33 - Its hip, sexy, and still corporate. Clean crisp lines.
2) Fonts: Our favorite font's so far are #7, and #32
3) Color: So far not many have stuck to the slate blue color. Although not too dark, we are leaning toward the colors of the symbol in 25 or the blues in 33. We do anticipate this going on darker backgrounds, so we can't go too dark, but bright blues like #28 and #22 are out.
