  How about some purple / white on grey?
  
  try with some lower case fonts - wondering if M initial is difficult to work with in a icon based logo?
  
  would adding a 3rd colour help?

  Designers - I think I need to see plenty of variations as I like a lot of the designs I see so just have a blast on own ideas. The key elements for me are a photographic based icon and use of initials in some way - ideally together!

  Designers - please can you perhaps try to bring in some other colours to font - orange / red perhaps?
  
  Also bring word photography out a little more
