  New Photo Business Logo

  fotocaptain.com or Foto Captain

  Yes

I am starting a Photography Business that will focus mainly on taking action/sports pictures at Sailing Regatta/Races. I will do other photography but my goal is to marry one passion (sailing) up with another passion (photography). Even though I will do mostly local (Texas) Regattas to start with, I do have dreams of doing much bigger events Nationally and Globally. This is a Part Time endevor to start with.

As mentioned above - most of my safety gear is Yellow and Black. These are not actually my fav colors but I am trying to go for something with pop. Red and Blue are typically sailing colors and in fact the current lettering on my sailboat is Ultramarine Blue. I am really open to color. I guess yellow/gold also might work since Navy Captain Rank in the US and UK are gold stripes.

  not sure

I am all over the board with ideas. I have thought about pulling in Navy type logos and some how couple that with Photographer images. I have thought about abstract sailboats both racing and a single sailboat. I guess the idea of Photography is somewhat implied in the name Foto Captain. If you think it needs to call out the photography aspect I am even fine using the name Foto Captain Photography or using the fotocaptain.com name (fotocaptain.com was actually the name I used for my articles of incorporation). Again I am pretty wide open on this.
