I apologize if I have been encouraging everyone to follow a similar design idea. There is still time left in the project, and other ideas will be considered.
Anyone who would like to submit an original concept is encouraged.
Drafts having similar concept to VaastuDesign's submissions (http://www.mycroburst.com/contests/need-a-simple-formal-and-bold-logo-for-insurance-agency/users/VaastuDesign) will be taken down. Please submit original ideas and artwork!
#73 is a nice looking design. can you revise to make the illustration smaller in relation to the words (or make the words bigger)? also, can you make a version where the illustration sits above the lettering (similar to #54 & #35)? thanks so much!
Thanks to all for the great submissions. Some feedback (good and bad) below.
I've gotten some good feedback on #35. I like the direction, a variation on that theme would be great; i like the idea, just looking something with a touch more modern look/feel to it.
#56 the design is interesting, but i don't like the font. #57/#58 the design is quite creative - I like it, but the font and word layout don't work it for me.
#53 is better than previous submissions, but the nike-like swooshes don't work for me. the font & word layout isn't quite right. words should probably be on two lines, instead of one.
#54 is great. I like the progression of designs since the original. i like the font and word layout.
#33, #38, #39 are all interesting designs, however, they don't quite grab me. they're similar to some other submissions, but they're not as well balanced as others. sorry i can't put my finger exactly what's off with them.
the best i can say to all going forward is take a look at the 4-star designs because those are the ones I really like the most. the 4-star designs encompass the elements I like in a good design.
thanks for all the hard work and good luck to all!
Creativity and Inventiveness will win this contest. I don’t want a simple design that I could have drafted myself; I want an idea worth the money, a logo that shouts that this company means business. The logo should be corporate and formal. I'd like the illustrated part of the design (which needn't be the initials LIA) the be the emphasis, with the company name underneath and smaller. I like modern designs that looks corporate, but are also simple. Thank you for your time and submissions.
#9 is the best so far. the background should be white, but I like the LIA portion of the logo better than any other so far. it's more along the lines of what i'm looking for -- the proportions between the illustration and the business name are more what i want. I don't love the font used for the business name. it's a little too fun and doesn't look corporate enough.
thank you for all the submissions. i'll give some feedback below to help refine the designs.
#2 is a good progression, but the LIA letter design is a bit jumbled. I'm looking for something a bit more sleek; more than three letters, one superimposed over the other. I do like the use of color -- that's very much what I'm looking for in terms of colors -- i prefer the lighter blue over the dark.
#6 is interesting. I like the soft edges to the fonts used for the business name, but I don't understand the square-shaped illustration on the left. it doesn't tell me anything. also, the shade of blue is too dark.
#1 is not a bad start, but not quite what i'm looking for. the choice of colors is going in the right direction. The font for the company name is just a bit too blocky. the design just doesn't pop for me. it's a little more generic than i'm looking for. keep them coming and thanks for submitting a draft so quickly!
