  We will be selling both books and e-books so having a design with a book and e-reader would be beneficial. Also, I would appreciate some design options that showed how the text "mybookorders.com" could be worked into a design.

  Some general thoughts/ideas.. because the company name is so long the .com portion could be made smaller than the rest of the text or the text could be curved/arc around a design. Some examples of what I mean are Tampa Ticket Source Winner (Insignia001)or Affairs Book Winner (finaldesign). You do not have to do this but a creative way to disguise the fact that mybookorders.com is so long could be appealing.

  To all designers -- this logo needs to convey to people that if they order books through our site the books will arrive safely, in good condition and on time. Please go to www.mybookorders.com and can see the current logo (which isn't bad). We are just looking to make an even stronger one.
