My Caring Home's process -
ASSESSMENT: Our goal is to help, but first you must help us learn more about you, the individual being referred to the community. We must understand what you love in life, what makes you happy, how you like to live life, your specific needs such as your health history and status, what you demand to increase your comfort and satisfaction with a community. We do this through an informal consultation.
SELECTION: Once we completely understand your needs, wants and desires, My Caring Home will present to you your options. We have solid relationships with communities here in the SF Bay Area and will provide you with photos, reviews, and detailed information pertaining to the community. We take great care in ensuring that each community is reputable, be state licensed with no licensing violations, and has been thoroughly inspected to the highest of standards, as if our own selves were to live in and be taken care of by the community.
ADMISSION: When we, together, have found a community that offers you an increased ease of comfort, security and independence, My Caring Home will assist you in completing the required paperwork for admission.
SUPPORT: Most importantly because moving can be the most demanding, My Caring Home will assist you in contacting experienced moving companies, in home service providers, transportation services, and/or appropriate utility companies to make the transition as smooth as possible and free of unnecessary stress.
Payment: My Caring Home’s referral services are provided to seniors and their families for free and at no cost. Our goal is to relieve you from spending unnecessary time and the increased stress associated with all the research.
Even though our service is free, the communities that you select do charge on a per month basis. Here are some ways of payment:
Private Pay
Through family and/or friends
Long Term Insurance
MediCal, Veterans Aids and Assistance Programs.
