Monkey Flower Fine Chocolates will serve a want and needful penchant for truly local, fun, whimsical, high quality chocolates for discriminating chocolate lovers in the funky Downtown/University area of Tucson. They will reflect the flavors of the Sonoran Desert and culture of Tucson (prickly pear, tamarind, hibiscus, mint, chile, horchata, tequila...) Monkey Flower Fine Chocolates will be sold at local establishments in the Downtown and University areas; they will also be available online and direct to consumers. I hope to open an actual shop in two years or so. The logo/design will be used on business cards, product labels, website, and brochures.

Monkey Flower is native to the Sonoran Desert, rare, beautiful, delicate, and edible. I find this flower to be the perfect metaphor for my chocolates. The sound of the name is whimsical and multi-faceted. Besides providing an awesome name for my business, I will have a Monkey Flower Truffle as a signature product. Monkey flowers can be yellow, red, pink, purple, orange, beige, brick as well as a combination of these colors.

What I have in mind is a deep brown with red tones, plant green, beige, and yellow (for the monkeyflower?)

Sheer or water color look is also nice.

  not sure

Using an actual monkey flower...in the color yellow, maybe. There are many photos of them online, including botannical drawings and lots of them are public domain.

I DO NOT
WANT ANY MONKEY IMAGES AT ALL in my logo.
