  thanks everyone for all of the great submissions.
  
  i have indicated my preference for yellow, blue, black, and white but i am interested in other color combinations as well. i am very interested in anything you guys think would look nice for this design!

  #16-18, #12: thanks for working with a capnography wave form, i don't think it works visually though. i prefer the more abstract wave forms that look like "M" or "MM"
  
  #5, #13: i like the stacked top to bottom arrangement of monitor,mask,and tag line. i also like proportion of the image next to the words. i also like the colors in use: yellow, black, blue, white.

  #12- right on with the waveform. try removing the top dotted line and bottom straight line. make waves a little taller and try to fit three or four into the image. if 4 would fit maybe you can create an "MM" appearance to them.

  layout, font, colors i like best are #5 and #6
  
  i prefer the rectangle/square shape of waveform image in #5, #6 rather than the more abstract tear drop waveform in #9 - #11 or the naked waveform in #8
  
  please do google search for "normal capnography waveform" to see if capnograph waveform could be incorporated into design. or see "normal capnography" diagram at url http://emsstaff.buncombecounty.org/inhousetraining/capnography/part-2/default.asp

  i like the waveforms in the designs. in #5 and #4 is the waveform intended to be "MM"?alternate waveform used can be found in google search for "normal capnography waveform."
  
  i like the addition of blue in designs #5 and #4 with black/yellow.
  
  i like the proportions of design #5 the best so far.
