Announcement: Project Holder has not selected a contest winner within 15 days, therefore
MycroBurst will announce the winner and award prize according to "MB Contest Policy".
We are proud to announce “artleo" for his draft #10 as the winner of this contest.
All of the designs submitted were good, and it was hard to pick the winner/s.
Good Luck in your next contest!

In addition to seeing an actual tag, we are looking for a method of attaching the tag to the mesh. We currently use wire ties which are tedious to attach and trim. Need something that requires no trimming, lays flat for packaging, is durable, affordable.
Regarding the box, we would like a simple design but something more than just a big tag stuck to it.

We would like to see new designs for individual tags AND a design for a container to store samples in after being tagged. We do not currently have a container but would like it to be 6"x6"x2".
From the project brief it's not clear what you need to be done - labels or containers - or both?
When you say "container needs to be easy to put samples in and take them out" - do you mean you need to engineer the new container itself? If you do not need a new container, it would be much easier to visualize this project if we had an image of the existing container...
I would love to partisipate in this project if it was explained a bit deeper.

The submitted projects are not complete based on the requirements of the contest. A method of tagging individual samples is required to have a complete design submission.
Also We specified that only one color be used in the design of the box.

xyeek,
Thank you for the designs! To answer your question, no, I don't think an adhesive will properly stick to the most open patterns. Also we have some patterns that are flexible which would not hold any type of adhesive. See the pictures for what I mean by "flexible" as that is a relative term.
Yes we can have two different label conecepts. Ideally I'd like just one.
I had a look at your site and noticed some of your meshes have wide gaps and some don't. Do you think an adhesive label would adhere properly to the ones with wider gaps?
Alternatively, is it possible to have 2 different label concepts - one for the more tightly knitted mesh and one for the ones with wider gaps?
