I will be selecting a design very shortly. I just wanted to thank everyone who submitted a design. This will not be an easy decision to make, since there are at this time 3 top designs to choose from.
I know waiting on a decision sucks and will make my choice very soon.
#52, #53 & #54 ~ I'm not getting a retro feeling from the designs submitted, and the veggies don't suggest jam to me. Also, I requested that the designs do NOT have apples in them, since they don't grow in Florida. Please revise them and resubmit the newer designs. Thanks!
#47 is my favorite so far, attidesigns. Thanks for incorporating my suggestions! One last tweak....let's lose the little leaves in the corner on the sand. Very nice design overall.
hsharp....I like the Victory Gardens in a blue banner best out of your newer designs. Will narrow down the favorite out of that newer batch in a bit (sorry, duty calls for a bit.)
#31 ~ not sure what the fruit is behind the grapefruit....
current1, #27 is my favorite of all the designs submitted this far. Love your little tag line on the ribbon, it's better than my "just say no to corn syrup" original. Wish I could have figured out how to give it 4 1/2 stars so settled for linking it to my FB instead. Great work!
attidesigns ~ #20 is the best one yet! If you could change the orange color to look more like a marmalade...and maybe work an orange in with the leaves on the side....I think it would be the most "Florida" design yet submitted. Could we also make the palm tree leaves a bit more green, too?
Here's a possible for the orange color in the jam jar....second picture down. Could we try something close to that shade and see if it works?
hsharp ~ can I see #17 without the palm trees, and maybe with a little brighter background? (I like the rays on the top...makes me think of sunshine.)
myLOGOguy ~ There's a bit too much text in there and it's kind of confusing. It doesn't really reflect the era I'm looking for, either. It seems more 70's than 40's.
Here's more of what I would like to see....1) I like the script you used on the bottle labels the best out of all the ones you have used so far, however....2) my favorite "bottle" is the one you have in #9. I think if we have to shrink the logo for something later, that little element will get lost. 3) I'm not getting much of a "1940's feel" from the designs, which I would really love. 4) Not too crazy about the vanilla beans right now.
I love the two limes with one sliced in half, the company name in a sash below the design and the bold colors. I wanna see something that keeps them and incorporates the suggestions above.
#2 ~ Can I see what it looks like without the piece of bread having jam spread on it? Love the palm tree, the colors selected and the typeface!
#6 & #7 ~ I love the name Victoria, but the company is "Victory Gardens". Please change that on your designs. Thanks.
#4 ~ The flowers are beautiful and I love the typeface for the company name. I'm not crazy about the empty jars in the background, and the light gray diagonal lines make it hard for me to see what's going on. Could you lighten them, and make the VGJ darker so I can see it better? Thanks.

#28 and #29 are too simple. They ARE retro, which is great, but they are too generic for what I want to tell the customer.
#22 ~ can you eliminate the jar topper on that design and move the citrus element to the front by the leaves?
