| My client is a small, cozy family-oriented camping resort located at the Jersey shore. We cater to families from empty nesters to young families with kids and pets. We are looking for a simple, subtle high-end, sophisticated logo that is a also casual or playful. We do not want an ultra-sophisticated logo or a stereotypical outdoors "kitschy" campground logo. We cater to the upscale camper and offer all of the amenities of a resort and this must be reflected in our logo. We do not offer tent camping only high end-cabins, and space for RVs. Although just minutes from beautiful beaches, we are nestled in a lush wooded area with ample large shade trees, foliage, birds, walking paths, and a peaceful pond. We are a destination camping resort located halfway between the Wildwood boardwalk and Historic Cape May. We want to convey a sense of the outdoors in a welcoming, relaxing, peaceful, simple, clean family fun way. People come to our campground primarily to come to the beach so we are leaning toward incorporating beach elements such and a shoreline, waves, beach, sunset, reed grass, etc . Having said that, we are open to ideas that incorporate the other aspects of our property as described above. We do not want a Holly leaf or Holly Tree in our logo. See below for other elements that we like and do not like for further direction. We are comfortable with abstract or literal representations of design elements. | ||

| My client is leaning toward images that are associated with the beach such as waves, water, sand, shoreline, reed grass, sunset, starfish, sand dollar, etc. Other possible ideas footprints in sand, beach umbrella, nautical if very subtle and sophisticated, birds such as shorebirds, Heron, Ospray, hummingbirds. Take "campground" to the next level. We want high-design. Please stay away from fish, Campground kitschy, Wildwood doo-wop retro, lighthouses, life-saving rings. The Font must be readable and must work well and be easily read on street sign at entrance of campground, in advertising, on website and on logo merchandise. I have included a file with ideas that my client is drawn to.
