  Hi All
  You've left me with such a dilemma that I've decided to add some prize money for a second winner, which hopefully my second choice of winner (not yet decided) will be happy enough to accept! I really appreciate the effort that has been put in, and will give a bit more feedback to the individual designers about their latest entries.

  Thank you to all the brilliant designers that have put forward logos. Please note that I have decided that I like having the Cathedral in the logo, so please go with that, and a tree next to the logo seems to work well. This is turning into a great competition, and I feel confident that I will have a great logo for my new business by the end!

  Re designs #18 and #19, thank you for these. There are parts of them that I really like. The cathedral looks terrific - a great centrepiece for the logo - and the Devon flag on top works well, although if you can do a design without it, I'd like to see it for interest's sake. The palm trees don't quite work as they don't really represent Devon - an oak tree might work better. Please take the birds out as although I love them, I don't think they work in my logo. Please try green grass in front of the cathedral rather than the sea. With regard to the font, I like the "tailor made for you font", but the "Unique Devon Tours" font needs to be a bit more classic and/or elegant please. Please try again as I can see that you know what you're doing.

  Re designs #16 and #17, thank you for your further efforts. Whilst I prefer the font you have used this time for Unique, I do not want it to be larger than Devon Tours, as it is in #16. I like the logos, but as I said before, they are still just a bit too simplistic. Thank you again.

  Re design #13 and #15, thank you for your logos. Really good effort. I really like the lettering you've used - great. I quite like the feel of the symbol in #13, but the building needs to have more substance (ie it needs to looks more like a cathedral). Not keen on the symbol in #15. The colours in both logos are very nice, but you could go a bit further with another colour or two to give the logos more dimension.

  Re design #12 - thank you for your latest logo. I don't really feel that it improves on your previous attempts, I'm afraid. This latest logo is too "busy", and the flower is mainly to blame for this. I think the words should not overlap the designs they are over. I think the word Unique looks better without the speech marks, and the logo just looks too brown. Sorry to sound so negative, but feel free to try again - I am open to alternative ideas.

  Re design #11, thank you for the design. I like the lettering that you've used for Devon Tours and tailor made for you, but the font for Unique is just not quite right, and needs to be a bit more elegant. The cathedral window looks pretty good, but I think the logo is a little too simplistic overall. Please try again as I like your style. Thanks.

  Re designs #6, #7, #8, #9 and #10, thank you very much for putting forward your designs. I really like #9 and #10 with the Cathedral in the background, the tree and the excellent font. Please can I ask you to do two things? Firstly, please can you give me some other colour options for this logo, maybe with some warmer colours (a bit less blue perhaps)? Secondly, please can you incorporate something just to lighten the feel of it, perhaps a subtle glass of wine, or some other symbol? This idea might not work, but my wife felt it needed to be a bit less serious! Great work though overall, thank you.

  Re designs #1, #2 and #4, thank you very much for your designs. #4 is my favourite out of the three because of where the lettering is. You have done well to capture the feeling of Devon with the hills and sun, but I don't feel that the design has the sophistication that I want to impress upon potential customers. As I said in my brief, the stereotypes of Devon are to be used with subtlely. I want my logo to represent style and exclusivity. By the way, you've done really well to incorporate the Cathedral into the design!
  
  Note to designers - please do not let my guidance in the brief inhibit you. I am very happy for you to come up with designs outside of my brief, as long as they give the impression of sophistication and quality. Possibly logos which are as much about the wording as anything else? I'll leave it with you.

  I went into a printers today, and they advised to say that I would like my end logo in vector format, which probably means more to you than to me!
  
  I'm looking forward to receiving some designs and to giving you feedback.

  MycroBurst permits you to submit unlimited designs with unlimited variations. However, if you are providing 2 or 3 different color versions of the same logo in one draft, please make sure that if the particular draft gets finalized, each color version should be separated before you will send the final files.
